We're looking to scale our sales team to continue growing our customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong outbound sales skills and a solid understanding of or interest in the food & beverage industry, in order to help us scale our supplier base. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outbound sales activities and customer acquisition. Your duties will include cold-calling and emailing prospects, nurturing relationships, and promoting Torg's platform to drive business growth. You will collaborate with a small team of high-performing sales and technology professionals and work directly with leading food & beverage manufacturers and retailers across Europe and beyond. You are required to be based in Bulgaria, with preference for candidates based in Sofia.
Tasks
- Use HubSpot for cold calls and emails to generate new sales opportunities.
- Conduct 80+ outbound calls per day to identify and acquire new suppliers for the platform.
- Schedule meetings between prospective customers and business development managers.
- Drive the onboarding, adoption, retention, and overall success of our suppliers and buyers.
- Act as the voice of our customers, providing proactive recommendations and feedback to optimize platform use.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Fluent in English; additional European languages such as German, Spanish, French or others are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a sales role with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably with experience working remotely on outbound sales.
- Possess a growth and development mindset; not afraid to pick up the phone.
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively.
- Experience in successfully managing customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and remotely.
- Based in Bulgaria, with work authorization and ability to attend bi-yearly trainings in Sofia.
