Junior Fundraising Manager (unique position, m/f/x)

Employee
Management and Consulting
50 € to 70 € / year

Hey there! Thank you for the visit!

We are Tomorrow Biostasis GmbH! We're a tech startup based in Berlin, dedicated to providing a high quality human cryopreservation service (also called Cryonics). For an introduction to the topic we ask that all applicants read this article: waitbutwhy .com/2016/03/cryonics .html

In short, cryopreservation is an advanced medical procedure that puts a human into complete biological pause after their legal death. The purpose is to keep people preserved until medical technology has advanced enough to treat their cause of death and revive them. Cryopreservation provides the chance for patients to benefit from future technologies and potentially live a longer life than what is currently possible.

Human cryopreservation services have existed for over 50 years, and we have brought the option to Europe and currently in the process of expanding to the US. We are entering our fifth year of customer acquisition and are looking for motivated and forward thinking people to help us in the process of scaling up.

Tasks

We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated professional to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive business development and fundraising efforts for a bold and unconventional company.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of investors (UHNWIs, family offices, strategic funders, etc.)
  • Take ownership of investor outreach, including direct communication, scheduling, and follow-ups
  • Lead and execute targeted fundraising initiatives and campaigns
  • Identify new funding opportunities and channels through partnerships and relationship-building
  • Represent the company externally at relevant events and meetings across Europe and the US (frequent travel required)
  • Proactively do whatever it takes to connect the company with the right funders and partners to fuel our growth

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • German language skills are a strong plus
  • Prior experience in investor-facing roles—ideally in startup fundraising, venture capital, family offices, or as a founder, can also be in junior positions
  • Proven ability to build and nurture high-value networks
  • Comfortable with outreach and relationship-building, both in person and remotely
  • Strong understanding of startup fundraising dynamics and investor expectations
  • Highly motivated by the mission—interest in longevity, biotech, or breakthrough innovation is essential
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and the US

Benefits

  • Work with the leadership team, directly with the CEO
  • Unique position --> work with the best of the best, lots of personal growth
  • Competitive base compensation
  • High to very high performance-based compensation

This position is quite unique. We are looking for people who are intrinsically(!) motivated and want to work on bleeding-edge topics that fundamentally challenges the status quo.

We are building the very first professional and scalable organization in the Biostasis space with a strong focus on science and medical quality. Our offer is for you to be a part of that.
