Tasks

About the Role

They are seeking licensed psychotherapists who are committed to providing high-quality, inclusive, and empathetic care. As a valued member of this mission-driven team, you will deliver evidence-based, client-centered therapy that recognizes the complexity of intersectional identities and life experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Client-Centered Therapy: Provide individual, couple, and group psychotherapy tailored to each client’s unique cultural, relational, and identity contexts.
  • Inclusive, Affirming Care: Help clients navigate identity exploration, stress, anxiety, trauma, and systemic challenges, while celebrating their diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Intersectional Approach: Offer culturally competent, trauma-informed support that honors clients’ race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability status, and relational or sexual frameworks.
  • Skill Building & Support: Empower clients with coping strategies, resilience techniques, and self-advocacy tools, including assistance with coming out, exploring non-traditional relationship structures, and fostering self-worth.
  • Professional Standards: Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records and adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional guidelines.
  • Ongoing Development: Engage in regular supervision, team collaboration, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in inclusive care

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education & Licensure: Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. Active licensure (or license-eligibility) as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or equivalent in your practicing state.
  • Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of intersectionality and demonstrated competence working with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other historically marginalized communities.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior work with identity exploration, trauma, and marginalized populations is highly valued. Experience or openness to working with non-traditional relational/sexual frameworks is a plus.
  • Multilingual Skills: Strongly preferred but not required.
