Global Health Innovation Implementation Lead (W/M/D)

Your role

Aligned with the Health Active Solutions business strategy and roadmap, and supported by the health science & innovation team, you will pilot the innovation pipeline to ensure sustained, differentiated business offers. You will accelerate innovation across both portfolios of the Health Active Business, targeting human and pet biological needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Management & Coordination

• Oversee the health active innovation pipeline from ideation to internal roll-out, supported by End-to-End (E2E) project managers and the Health Active Solutions PMO.
• Implement internal launches of health active innovation projects from both internal and external partners.
• Lead key projects.
• Recruit, develop, and manage the E2E Innovation Project Managers team and budget.
• Provide regular reports on key innovation projects, including budget, project status, and business case follow-up.

Internal Innovation Leadership

• Organize and lead innovation workshops with business lines, regions, and the scientific team to gather sales and market needs, scientific research outputs, and generate new health active solution ideas.
• Engage with regions on new projects to feed the health innovation pipeline.

External Innovation Leadership

• Manage and accelerate health active innovation projects from external partners, guided by the Global Health Business Development Manager (BDM), to complement and develop our business.

New Product Strategy Development

• Ensure each new health active project aligns with the portfolio management strategy set by the Business Lines (Human & Pets), supported by product managers, business development management, marketing manager, and regional health leads.
• Validate each project with a comprehensive content package including value proposition, business case, pricing/CIU, supply, and financial flow proposal.

You should have a technical background, with experience in areas such as R&D, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Business Supply Chain, or Finance. You should possess proven experience in B2B and ideally B2C environments, particularly in nutritional and/or health ingredients, with a strong understanding of product technical attributes. Expertise in commercial positioning and pricing, including CIU (cost in use) and SP (selling price), is essential.

You must be effective at influencing decision-making processes and have a problem-solving mindset, along with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration. Key attributes include adaptability to dynamic environments, clear and effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and a customer-centric approach to align innovation projects with market demands. Management experience (2 people reporting directly to the role), strong business acumen, and willingness to travel up to 20% are also required.
