Senior Flutter Web Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Flutter Web Developer (Freelancer) with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade web applications using Flutter. This role is ideal for an independent contributor who can take ownership of frontend architecture, drive technical decisions, and deliver elegant, scalable web interfaces with minimal oversight.

This project is web-first, focused on building a fast, responsive, and accessible Flutter web app that integrates with modern backend services.

• Lead the development of a complex Flutter web application from architecture to deployment.
• Translate high-fidelity UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect web interfaces.
• Optimize web performance for fast load times, smooth interactions, and cross-browser consistency.
• Integrate with backend APIs, auth providers, and third-party services.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, code quality assurance, and guidance on best practices.
• Communicate progress regularly and deliver work within agreed timelines.

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with 2+ years focused on Flutter Web.
• Strong understanding of Flutter’s rendering pipeline and web-specific challenges (e.g., layout constraints, SEO limitations, asset loading, responsiveness).
• Expertise in modern state management solutions (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, Provider).
• Experience building fully responsive web apps (desktop/tablet/mobile) in Flutter.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and version control best practices.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and manage your time effectively.

• Experience integrating with authentication systems (Firebase, Auth0, OAuth2).
• Familiarity with deploying Flutter Web apps on Firebase Hosting, Vercel, or Netlify.
• Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) and performance tooling (Lighthouse, PageSpeed).
• Background in UI/UX or design systems implementation.
• Prior work with progressive web apps (PWAs) or hybrid web/mobile platforms.
