[Internship] Social Media Marketing & Community Management for Rogue-like Deckbuilding Game

At Spellfusion, we strive to create captivating indie games by merging the tried and trusted with the innovative and new. We're looking for an marketing & community management intern based in Germany, and currently enrolled as a university or college student to support our latest project, Nether Spirits.

Depending on your university's schedule, the internship will start between December 2023 and March 2024 and will last three months, or up to six months if it's a mandatory internship.

Nether Spirits is a rogue-like deckbuilder set in a mystical realm known as The Nether, a place where fractured souls fight tooth and nail to reach their goal: a pillar of blue light said to make them whole again.

Main task

• Incorporate your own ideas and create engaging short-form videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels from in-game recordings and art

Additional tasks

• Interact with our community on Discord & other social media platforms (TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Plan and supervise fun and interesting events for our community

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's/master's program
• Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Good understanding of how to facilitate engagement via social media platforms, esp. TikTok
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about games
• Fluency in English

Bonus if:

• You need a mandatory internship for your degree
• You're familiar with Unity game engine
• You're familiar with deckbuilding, strategy or roguelike games
• You're familiar with Notion, Clickup, or other project management and documentation tools
• You're familiar with version control systems, such as Git
