Job Overview

Our index data engineering team owns, builds and extends all our services providing our clients easy access to all critical index-related data. This allows our clients to manage, hedge, and benchmark their portfolios and investment strategies and is a central part of Solactive’s services.
The team is responsible for the data pipelines, services for data transformation and customization, and secure and efficient data transfer to our clients via multiple channels. Providing critical services and data, this team serves and interacts with a lot of other teams and stakeholders.

Your Tasks

• Develop reusable, efficient data processing pipelines that serve as the backbone for our cutting-edge data integration services. Your work will enable scalable solutions that evolve with our business needs.
• Take the lead in expanding and refining our data rendering engines. Your innovations will directly enhance how our clients process and interact with complex datasets.
• Craft high-performance APIs and streaming solutions that deliver real-time data to our clients and vendors, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Lead architectural and engineering excellence within your team to maintain our commitment to quality and innovation.
• Engage with multiple teams across the company on cross-functional initiatives that drive the technical direction of our products.
• Share your knowledge and expertise by mentoring less experienced team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Work closely with product owners and business teams in a collaborative environment. Experience the satisfaction of seeing the immediate impact of your work on the business and its customers.

Your Profile

• You bring 8+ years of engineering expertise, with a deep focus in Java over the last 5 years. Your substantial experience in Java environments will be pivotal in driving our projects forward.
• You are well-versed in both synchronous and asynchronous communication technologies, including REST, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and others. Your ability to navigate these technologies is essential for building robust, scalable services.
• You possess strong capabilities in relational database technologies, ideally with experience in JPA, Hibernate, and SQL/MySQL. Your skills will support complex data manipulation and performance optimization.

• You have sharp analytical abilities and a problem-solving mindset. Your capacity to tackle challenges creatively is crucial for advancing our technological solutions.
