Corporate Lawyer – Thames Valley (Newbury, Maidenhead, Swindon)

Are you a corporate lawyer looking for a new opportunity to develop your career in a forward-thinking and growing law firm? We are currently seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join a dynamic business team in one of their Thames Valley offices (Newbury, Maidenhead, or Swindon).

About the Role:

In this permanent, full-time position, you will work closely with business owners, corporates, and entrepreneurs, providing high-quality advice on all aspects of company and corporate law. Your caseload will cover a variety of sectors, including IT, tech, and life sciences, and will include:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Management buyouts and founder exits
• Shareholders' agreements
• Joint ventures and investments
• Corporate governance and partnership agreements

You will also play an active role in business development, seeking new leads and building relationships with clients. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll manage your own caseload while providing support to senior colleagues.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years’ PQE in corporate law (ideally within a corporate law firm)
• Experience with complex mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong business development and client-facing abilities
• A team-oriented approach, with a focus on building trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
