Interpreter and Cultural Mediator Amharic <> Tigrinya with English - Chios, Greece

At Seprotec, we are looking for a Cultural Mediator and Interpreter with the language combination Amharic <> Tigrinya, with English, for an on-site position in Chios, Greece.

The position will start next September 7th until September 18th, and is related to migration and asylum contexts.

It is essential that applicants already reside in Chios or are available to relocate and remain in the city for the duration of the position.

Face to face interpreting service with Amharic<>Tigrinya and English

• Native or near-native proficiency (C1/C2) in Amharic and Tigrinya
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level).
• Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in interpreting or cultural mediation, preferably in social, humanitarian, asylum, migration, or community settings.
• Currently working as freelance.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle preferred.
• Valid European residence and work permit.
• Based in Chios, Greece
