Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) BERLIN

reverse(.)supply enables fashion brands and retailers to enter the second hand market. We provide an integrated logistics and tech platform that covers the complete lifecycle of second hand items - from buying to selling. We are looking for a senior software engineer to strengthen the tech and data team. We are a small team that works closely together on one feature at a time. We plan together and we build together. Our tech stack is AWS, Python and Vue.js. You will be working together with the CTO and the founders on a daily basis. Your work will have impact.

• You will contribute to fundamental architectural decisions and ensure that they materialise in code. At the same time, you will make sure that architecture evolves together with the growth of the company, new challenges and learnings.
• You will design and implement new features, as well as maintain existing functionality. When necessary you will migrate business processes and data smoothly to better scalable solutions.
• You will be working on API-based partner integrations, internal and external user interfaces as well as our logistics and data platform.
• You will contribute to test coverage and automate repetitive tasks.
• You will guide and mentor less experienced team members.
• You will collaborate closely with internal and external users to ensure they will have the best possible experience.

• You have 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• You have successfully built services in either Python or JVM based languages.
• You are neither afraid of working with frontend technologies nor infrastructure services and apply the same engineering principles that you apply to backend code.
• You have a solid understanding of how to design, implement and operate state-of-the-art REST APIs.
• You have experience with relational and non-relational databases and have built scalable data-driven applications.
• You have a solid understanding of internet technologies, protocols and modern cloud-native service design.You know and feel comfortable with modern engineering principles like TDD, pair programming, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery.
