Assistant to the Founder CEO (Internship / student position)

Responsibly is a sustainability tech start-up with a vision of making every purchase in the world responsible.

We're founded by serial entrepreneurs with previous successes like Ofload, Dixa, Neurons, and more, and are funded by some of Europe's top VCs and angels.

We’re at the most exciting part of our journey (yet!) where the product is being picked up by some of the biggest companies out there, and we have an incredibly exciting roadmap ahead of us! 🤘

If you already know why sustainable procurement is sexy, then skip this section, if not, read on!

Look, you probably already know that there are not many bigger problems out there than the climate, but did you know that more than 40% of global emissions, or really any ESG issue, are directly or indirectly impacted by procurement? That’s because companies have an incredible amount of power (‘purchasing power’) when selecting and managing suppliers, so if we can put sustainability on every supplier scorecard out there, we really can change the world.

But it’s hard! A company will have anywhere from 100 - 100,000 suppliers and analyzing each of their sustainability efforts is an impossible task, and most ESG ratings suck.

That’s what we’re trying to change. Responsibly's ai-powered due diligence engine automates the due diligence on every supplier across every single esg data point on your suppliers (from risk and violations to positive actions), and turns that into insights to ultimately help companies build more sustainable supply chains.

What you’ll be doing 🙌

You'll partner directly with me (the CEO) to help manage and run Responsibly. That means you'll essentially take ownership of a lot of the responsibilities that has only been on my table for the past 3-4 years, and partner with me on exciting projects, incl:

• Finance: bugetting, financial models, cash flow management, invoices, and more.
• People: payroll, warrant schemes, vacation days, hiring, onboarding, and more.
• Legal & investors: board prep, board meeting minutes, ad hoc legal projects.
• Marketing: thought leadership, podcasts, social media
• Specific projects: whether touching on our operations, product, or commercial teams.

Yes I know, that sounds like 10 professions at the same time! Welcome to a founders world - it's exciting to get exposure to all areas of running a business, and you'll get support on everything! :)

About you 😎

• You have some practical experience through an internship/business study activity in analytical environments, where you’ve had to navigate and make sense of complex problems
• You ideally have a business degree (Bachelors or Masters)
• You are a generalist that loves to get exposure to many things rather than specializing in one specific topic.
• You are highly organized and can easily juggle multiple items at the same time
• You are highly structured in your thinking, work and communication
• You are a strong problem solver, love analyzing data, and thrive in excel/google sheets
• You take a high degree of ownership in your work and are ready to attack unfamiliar problems with enthusiasm and a bias for action!
• You thrive in a fast-moving environment, you love to learn and have a growth mindset
• You'll get access to highly sensitive information so you need to be super trustworthy
• Bonus if you want to build a career as an entrenrepreneur, or within sustainability and ai
• You're passionate about your work and ambitious
• English is our working language, hence excellent skills are a must

The position can either be help as a full-time 6 month internship or a part-time student position (minimum 3-4 days/week) The location is Copenhagen, and a European work permit is required.
