Tasks

Jr. Product Analyst will play a part in supporting the entire product development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to launch and post-release analysis. There will be close coordination with various teams, contribution to data-driven decisions, and helping ensure our products deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Product Development & Documentation

  • Document product requirements, use cases, prototypes, and solutions with clarity and precision.
  • Actively participate in requirements gathering, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers.
  • Simplify complex business requirements into easily understandable terms for the team.
  • Document and review Functional Specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform impact analysis for both new and existing features.
  • Manage product-related issues by ensuring they are logged and tracked in JIRA and other relevant tools, including reviewing and logging improvements and monitoring bugs in JIRA Service Management.

Data Analysis & Product Insights

  • Assist in setting up and reviewing data points to ensure accurate data collection for product analysis.
  • Utilize product analytics tools, including Amplitude, to monitor success metrics, track user behavior, and assist in generating reports.
  • Help create and maintain basic product insights dashboards in Amplitude and other tools as needed.
  • Support the aggregation of usage data for recent feature releases, experiments, and various usage types, providing insights that inform the Product Roadmap.
  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to source and generate ideas for the product backlog.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying product gaps and generating new ideas to grow market share, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
  • Analyze users’ behavior through data and other tools, helping to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Support

  • Coordinate closely with the product design team to ensure designs meet all requirements and provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in the QA cycle, working with the QA team to diagnose and remediate bugs and improvements.
  • Assist the Customer Support team with inquiries and provide essential product-related knowledge.
  • Deliver product updates and demos to customer support/success and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Marketing Teams on product updates and assist in aggregating resources for go-to-market communications for new features.
  • Engage with and respond to customers on social and technology platforms.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to source and generate ideas for the product backlog.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying product gaps and generating new ideas to grow market share, improve customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
  • Set up and review data points, utilizing data analysis tools for monitoring success metrics and performing in-depth analysis.

Agile Participation & Communication

  • Participate actively in all steps of the Agile Charter.
  • Clearly communicate the status of tasks on the product roadmap and those currently in development.

Continuous Learning & Contribution

  • Assist project and product stakeholders in decision-making by providing timely reporting and analytics.
  • Keep yourself up-to-date on market trends, new technologies, relevant tools, and comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Assume other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Product Manager (APM) or Product Manager (PM).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6 Months to 1 year of experience in a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and platforms for analysis, automation, and rapid prototyping (e.g., Replit, Lovable, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Notion AI, or similar tools)
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for workflow automation, data analysis support, documentation, and experimentation
  • Comfortable working in AI-augmented product environments and adopting emerging AI technologies
  • Strong understanding of product metrics, experimentation, and the product lifecycle
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
