Tasks

  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and other cross-functional teams to review requirements and provide early feedback on potential quality risks.
  • Analyze product requirements and create detailed, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
  • Perform different types of testing including:

○ Functional Testing

○ Regression Testing

○ Smoke Testing

○ Integration Testing

○ Exploratory Testing

  • Perform testing across web applications and API layers.
  • Validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting details.
  • Perform root cause analysis of production issues and assist teams in preventing recurring problems.
  • Support post-release testing and production validation.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure proper traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Monitor and improve quality metrics within the assigned team.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
  • Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
  • Basic understanding of automation testing concepts playwright or AI related tools.
  • Experience with API automation or UI automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
