In 2023, Romeo grew tired of the same annual headache: chasing receipts and invoices across email threads for his software development agency, just to get accounting done. As a builder and AI enthusiast, the first tool he built for himself quickly turned into something bigger.

From day one, the idea was clear: with AI agents, boring financial admin and bookkeeping should become invisible, handled quietly in the background without manual effort.

In 2024, after a small angel round, Luigi joined as a co-founder to structure growth and scale. Together, we move fast, stay practical, and care deeply about what and how we build it.

We believe great products come from small teams, strong ownership, and real problems worth solving. We’re ambitious, building Receiptor AI with a long-term mindset, one useful thing at a time.
