We’re a performance-driven marketing agency based in Toronto, Canada, that helps brands grow through engaging, optimized video content. From thumb-stopping short-form ads on TikTok and Meta to informative long-form videos, we craft creative assets that drive real results. We're looking for a skilled Video Editor who’s fluent in performance-focused editing and compelling storytelling, someone who’s excited to push boundaries using AI tools and data-driven insights.
Tasks
- Edit and produce short-form video content for social ads (Meta, TikTok, Instagram), display campaigns, and more.
- Develop long-form content for internal and external campaigns, including UGC content, explainers, testimonials, or branded content.
- Lead the full post-production process, from raw footage to polished final asset, cutting, grading, mixing, and adding motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine video concepts that align with our marketing strategies and engagement goals.
- Enhance viewer retention using advanced editing techniques: B-roll, transitions, captions, audio cues, pacing, and more.
- Use AI tools like Eleven Labs to generate and integrate voiceovers where needed.
- Ensure all video content is produced within deadlines and meets our high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, trends, and technologies to continuously improve our video production process.
- Mentor junior video editors and contribute to the team's growth and development.
- Occasionally assist with static ad designs or graphic content, if you have experience in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a video editing role, ideally within a performance marketing or agency setting.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- A portfolio that showcases diverse video formats, storytelling skills, and platform-optimized content.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, color grading, audio editing, pacing, and post-production workflows.
- Experience using AI tools, especially for voiceovers and post-production workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories through video content.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.
