Volunteer Talent and Culture Senior (Remote, Token compensation)

NEWM is building a community-owned Web3 music ecosystem designed to connect artists directly with their supporters—eliminating middlemen and replacing them with transparent, profit-neutral code. Our mission is to empower artists to fully own and monetize their work while fostering a fairer music industry.

To achieve this, we are developing a multi-level platform powered by decentralized services that allow artists to publish, distribute, promote, fund, and launch their music independently. As an early-stage startup, our dedicated team of 50+ international members spans marketing, finance, technology, development, and design. We are a remote-first company offering a flexible, inclusive, and supportive work environment.

Just so you know, as we are not yet fully funded, all part-time roles are currently compensated in NEWM Tokens. You can learn more about NEWM Tokens at our website and we'll be happy to get more into detail when talking to you.

We are looking for a part-time (10 hours per week) HR senior starting from December 2024 or January 2025 to help us with:

• Creating a positive Team Culture which is aligned with the NEWM values;
• Managing Partner engagement and communication strategies that will attract, engage, and develop team members;
• The hiring process (posting, selecting, choosing candidates);
• Onboarding and offboarding
• Restructuring consulting;
• Creating workshops for team development;
• Facilitate a positive team culture meeting our teammates, listening to them and helping them by handling feedback talks

• Strong interest in people and values like equality, inclusion and transparency
• Fluent in English
• Preview experience on the position
• High degree of empathy
• Problem-solving and hands-on mentality
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• From anywhere in planet Earth, but preferably located in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay or Greenland.
