We are looking for a Senior Controlling & FP&A Manager in our Finance team to join us on this exciting journey!
Your mission
Our Finance team has played a key role in Prewave's journey and as we continue to scale, we’re now looking for an experienced Senior Controlling & FP&A Manager to help us uplift our performance reporting. You will work directly with the centralised Finance team located in our HQ in Vienna. As a Senior Manager in Controlling & FP&A your primary responsibility will be to ensure the financial success of our operations. This will involve working closely with all our departments. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to optimise financial outcomes.

As our Senior Controlling & FP&A Manager at Prewave, you will…
- Partner with the Finance Director and department heads to develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards and reporting systems
- You will monitor, analyse and communicate key financial and operational performance indicators to the management team for key decisions (including P&L, cash flow statements, balance sheets and variance analysis)
- Develop and implement robust finance processes and policies that align with the evolving needs of our rapidly growing business.
- Actively communicate key risks and opportunities, proposing new approaches
- Collaborate with the management team to develop plans for maximizing profitability, reducing costs, and increasing revenue
- Lead annual & quarterly budget and rolling forecast exercises with all departments and track performance against budget
- Develop financial models and forecasts to guide long-term planning
- Perform and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Assess ad hoc project ROI and business cases
- Improve month-end close to enable timely reporting of results
- Support roll-out of the Accounting ERP system as well as other finance tooling
