🟪 Podero is a fully funded startup ready to scale commercially after successful pilots with key customers. We are on a mission to create a future of abundant, clean energy by orchestrating the world's electric devices.

🟪 At Podero, you'll have a great support system around you. Our founders Chris and Moritz are both engineers who understand the intricacies of technical product decisions. Sebastian, our Head of Engineering, has over 20 years of experience and is known for giving insightful advice. Our team has worked on projects ranging from electricity and advertisement trading to heating system optimization, supply chain predictions, autonomous driving, oil-rig steering, payment software, and much more.

🟪 We started Podero after advising 20 apartment buildings to switch from oil and gas heating to heat pumps. We realized we could significantly reduce consumer energy costs by building software to steer electrical devices according to electricity markets. Since cheaper power prices correlate with lower carbon emissions, we also measurably reduce the electricity's CO₂ intensity when saving consumers money. Theoretically, we could reduce 4.4% of all carbon emissions if rolled out on a global scale.

🟪 Podero is based in Vienna, Austria, and serves customers in the DACH region and Scandinavia.

Summary of the Role

We’re looking for a mission-driven, ambitious, and high-performing builder to join us for the ride. We care about your ability to deliver great work and to be best-in-class in your specialization.
