For a strategic client in the Netherlands, we are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Inspector with expertise in both static and rotating equipment.

This role offers the opportunity to ensure the integrity and compliance of critical mechanical systems within high-profile projects in the Netherlands.
As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of mechanical equipment, including heat exchangers, reactors, compressors, filters, and pumps.
Your role is pivotal in verifying that all equipment meets industry standards and project specifications, thereby ensuring operational safety and efficiency.

Tasks

Perform detailed inspections of static equipment such as heat exchangers, reactors, filters, and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.

Inspect rotating equipment including compressors and pumps for proper installation, alignment, and functionality.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to validate equipment compliance.

Coordinate and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities to detect potential defects in equipment and materials.

Document inspection findings, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address and resolve quality issues.

Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards, including ASME, API, and other applicable regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical inspection within the Oil & Energy industry, focusing on both static and rotating equipment.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and maintenance procedures.

Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques, including NDT methods.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Availability for on-site work in the Netherlands.
