We are seeking a highly motivated Finance & Operations Professional to join our rapidly expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to the venture capital ecosystem, working closely with the senior members of the Investment Team, the CFO, Investor Relations and the CRO. You will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of financial processes and operational workflows, contributing to the firm's overall success and growth.
Tasks
- Investor Relations : Prepare valuation reports for AIFM and auditors and LP reports/presentations, summarizing fund performance and portfolio updates.
- Portfolio Monitoring : Track financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
- Financial Management : Prepare fund NAV and fund performance metrics and generate financial reports. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning for the firm.
- Vendor Coordination : Liaise with external service providers (legal, accounting, tax advisory, etc.) to ensure compliance.
- Operations Oversight : Support operations, including fund administration, compliance, and workflow optimization, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Due Diligence Support : Support investment team on Due Diligence process, reviewing financial statements (quality of earnings) and operational data for target companies.
- Strategic Support : Work closely with senior leadership on special projects, including operational initiatives, fundraising efforts, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, STEM, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in Big 4, equity research, investment banking, consulting
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, excellent attention to detail
- Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of private market operations, fund accounting, or portfolio management is a strong plus
- Interpersonal & Languages: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, with German, Italian or French as a plus.
- Track Record of Excellence: Demonstrated academic and professional success.
