PLC Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional in the field of PLC Automation for our semiconductor technology department. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for programming control systems for the advanced semiconductor equipment. Working closely with our interdisciplinary team, you will continuously optimize our automation processes. The best part? > Development and programming of control software for machines and plants in TIA Portal.

> Creation of visualizations and user interfaces with Siemens WinCC-Flexible or similar.

> Carrying out virtual software testing in a simulated test environment and commissioning activities at the machine and prepare test reports.

> Support the functioning of the machine.

> Troubleshooting the faults at the machine and provide solutions to fix the problems.

> Creating instructions and training for the operations and preparation of user documentation.

> Completed bachelor’s degree (or comparable to this level) in electrical engineering, Mechatronics or Automation, desirably with a master’s degree with orientation to automation software.

> Knowledge of PLC programming, mainly for Siemens PLC's (2 year+) and TIA Portal.

> Good knowledge of programming languages like Ladder Logic, FBD and ST.

> Independent error analysis and troubleshooting (Test and Debug).

> Excellent communication in English is a must and German on a B1-B2 level.

> It´s a plus: Knowledge of agile development, mainly SCRUM, and C++ and/or C#.
