Transport Lead (m/w/d)

In a nutshell

Picnic is looking for someone to bring transport to the next level! Leading a team of operation specialists, you will ensure that the trucks that drive between Picnic locations operate efficiently and on-time. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and lead big improvement projects. Also, you will enable Picnic growth by increasing our capacity and setting up transport in new regions. To make this all happen, you will collaborate with our partners and work closely with business analysts and tech.

What you can expect

• Lead transport between 100 locations across Germany
• Build commercial relationships with our partners
• Continuous improvement through numerous projects, big and small
• Grow the fleet and expand to new regions
• P&L responsible for the German transport budget

What you bring with you

• A successfully completed Bachelor/Master Studies
• 5-10 years work experience in the field of logistics
• Experience with leading a team
• Fluent German and very good English skills
• Enthusiasm to take full responsibility for our transport operations
• Experience with data analysis
• Vision and hands-on mentality, process focussed attitude
• Commercial acumen
