You'll be the trusted expert ensuring invoices are complete, bookings are timely and accurate, and purchase orders hit the mark. When urgent supplier disputes pop up, you’ll step in to handle everything from order blocks to contract discussions. But this role is more than just numbers. You’ll collaborate with our team to streamline processes, find smarter ways of working, and push for efficiency at every turn. Tricks of the trade

  • Invoice ownership: Take full ownership of the invoice processing workflow.
  • Team management: Manage a team of bookers who report directly to you.
  • Invoice analysis: Perform basic analyses on Picnic’s invoices.
  • Reporting collaboration: Collaborate with financial operations teams on periodic reporting processes.
  • Hands-on operations: Bring a hands-on approach to daily finance operations and challenges.
  • Cash insights: Provide cash-reporting insights to support other Finance teams.
  • Supplier communication: Manage the finance mailbox and serve as the primary contact for supplier inquiries.
  • Damage settlements: Oversee financial settlements for external damages efficiently and accurately.

Your superpowers

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Bookkeeping
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach
  • Beyond basic MS Excel and data analysis skills
  • ERP-system knowledge (Workday is a plus)
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with a creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Assertive in driving continuous improvement
