As the Fruit and Vegetable Quality Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive only the freshest and highest quality products. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous quality control checks and procedures throughout our supply chain, from sourcing to delivery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
🎯 What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming fruit and vegetable shipments to assess freshness, quality, and adherence to quality standards.
- Investigate and address any quality-related issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with our procurement team to select reputable suppliers and ensure that all products meets our quality standards.
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure proper handling, cold chain compliance, and transportation of products, maintaining freshness and quality
⭐ About you
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in quality control processes, inspection techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Desirable expertise in fruit and vegetable quality standards, grading systems, and industry best practices.
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance, in the food industry with a focus on fresh products.
- Background related to food quality, agriculture, or a relevant field is a plus.
- Availability for flexible working times; morning shift 06:00-15:00 and afternoon shift 14:00 - 23:00
- Availability for weekend shifts
- Good level of English; Dutch is a plus.
