If you're a passionate Visual Designer, we are offering you the opportunity to join the team at our Amsterdam HQ and help shape the visual direction of the first truly online supermarket. We are only just getting started ;)

🥜 In a nutshell

Visual design is the creative link between business and marketing, as it allows us to transform commercial concepts into beautiful content and engaging campaigns. At Picnic, Visual Designers join the marketing team from the start of an initiative until we get measurable results. Each project, we aim to learn and become better at food related visual storytelling in a digital context. We see this as an existing and everlasting journey!

🎯 What you’ll do

As a visual designer, you will join a team of designers, copywriters, analysts and communication coordinators. From day one you will have the chance to think along with the design briefs, develop campaign visuals and help shape Picnic's visual identity. With each project we aim to learn more about our customers and become better at shaping our communications to their needs.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to build campaigns that engage our existing customers and own the visual design side of the campaigns
  • Create and update email campaigns and social media assets
  • Create concepts for new online and offline advertising campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency across multiple channels and help shape the future of our visual identity
  • Work and learn from experienced designers and business stakeholders internationally (the Netherlands, Germany & France)
  • Adopt an overall analytical approach to design by testing and validating your designs either through user test or A/B testing online
