PGU MEDTEC stands for Pideri & Gutierrez - Ultramobility & Medical Technologies Concerns. The company was founded in 2022 at École Polytechnique as a continuation of research work carried out since 2012 by its Chairman, Matthias PIDERI.
It aims to meet the challenges of locomotor performance in fields such as medicine, industry, space, defense and motorsports, thanks in particular to technologies resulting from its R&D program, a simulator of the musculoskeletal system in limit condition.
With the unveiling of its VISION 2027 plan, the company aims to become the multiplanetary leader in ultramobility technologies, thanks to its technical spearheads.
Our Blender add-on is a soft biomechanical simulation tool for the human boby. It integrates 3D virtual humans for visual diagnostics, medical communication, CGI, and computational models for software and control of electronic and mechatronic systems. It streamlines the integration of human locomotor behaviors into orthopedic care and R&D. Its intermediate complexity doesn't require advanced hardware for calculations or clinical trials. This technology is the future of engineering and orthopedics, accelerating progress in orthopedic research and product development.
The PGU MEDTEC Elite Education Program provides internships, projects and work-study opportunities to top students reashing experience in the field of advanced technologies for ultramobility.
By immersing students in our teams, they acquire knowledge and engage with issues related to ultramobility.
