Cloud Engineer (m/w/d)

Tasks
What You’ll Do
- DevOps in a Cloud environment
- Automate infrastructure creation in a secure way
- Automate tests and CI/CD pipelines with tests
- Automate security tests and audits
Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and rollback processes.
- Collaborate with development teams on system architecture and infrastructure design.
- Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Monitor system performance and improve monitoring and alerting.
- Implement security controls and conduct audits.
- Respond to incidents as part of the on-call team and perform root cause analysis.
- Mentor and coach in DevOps and security
- Keep track and improve on KPIs.
Requirements
Essential is very good knowledge in
- AWS (especially VPN, Aurora, API Gateway, Lambda, App Runner, Glue, S3, Athena, Quicksight, Sagemaker, ECS)
- Cloud security (OWASP)
- Git and GitHub Actions
- Terraform
- verbal and written communication skills in English
Bonus points for
- Experience with Azure, Heroku, Vercel and Cloudflare
- Experience with Typescript and shell scripting
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools (Jest or similar)
- End-to-end test (Cypress) automation
- Load testing (JMeter or similar)
- Agile and SCRUM process management methodology
- Good time management and organizational skill
- verbal and written communication skills in German
