Minstrel Court is a stunning wedding and events venue near Cambridge, offering a

picturesque setting and exceptional service. We are seeking a Venue Concierge &

Event Sales Executive to manage guest relations, drive venue sales, and assist in

event coordination. This role is ideal for a dynamic, customer-focused individual with

strong sales acumen and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Venue Concierge & Guest Relations

  • Welcome all guests, vendors, and prospective clients with professionalism and

warmth.

  • Act as the first point of contact for walk-ins, phone inquiries, and email

communications.

  • Conduct personalized venue tours, highlighting Minstrel Court's features and event

packages.

  • Provide concierge-style service, assisting guests with special requests, local

recommendations,

and accommodation arrangements.

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, and outbound sales

efforts.

  • Manage incoming inquiries, follow up with potential clients, and secure venue

bookings.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with couples, corporate clients, and

event planners.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote venue offerings and boost

conversions.

Event Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks, scheduling, and

documentation.

  • Coordinate event logistics, ensuring all client requirements are met.
  • Maintain booking records, CRM systems, and client communication history.

Requirements

Competencies

  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or event coordination (venue or wedding

industry

preferred).

  • A confident, professional communicator who thrives in customer-facing roles.-

Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to convert inquiries into

bookings.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings, as required in the events industry.
