UGC Script Writer for Paid Social (US-based, Freelance)

You must have proven experience writing UGC ad scripts for TikTok or Meta. This role goes beyond traditional brand social-media copy. We’re specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in crafting UGC scripts for paid social campaigns.

You will be asked to submit at least two examples of your UGC and paid social ad videos you've scripted, along with your CV.

Tasks and responsibilities

• UGC Scriptwriting: Write authentic, engaging, and sales-focused scripts tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Ads.
• Collaboration & Storyboarding: Work closely with UGC creators and our production team to ensure scripts translate into compelling short-form videos that look “native” while still selling effectively.
• Performance Optimization: Incorporate feedback from performance metrics (CTR, ROAS, etc.) to refine scripts and maximize results.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate via Slack and Asana, ensuring efficient communication and timely delivery.

• US-Based: Deep knowledge of US market nuances and cultural references.
• Proven Paid Social & UGC Experience: You have successfully written and optimized scripts for TikTok or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads, with a focus on direct response. You have crafted scripts that feel organic and authentic yet are designed to drive conversions.
• Portfolio/Cover Letter: Please include at least two examples of UGC videos you’ve scripted. Be sure to include links to the published videos.
