Transport Manager

As we expand our operations and build our own fleet, we are committed to delivering sustainable, quick, and reliable delivery services to our clients. To support this growth, we are looking for a Transport Manager who will be instrumental in ensuring our operations comply with Dutch transport regulations while optimizing efficiency and service quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of applying for and obtaining the necessary transport certifications in the Netherlands (such as NIWO certification), ensuring the company can legally conduct parcel delivery services.
• Ensure full compliance with Dutch transport regulations and safety standards.
• Oversee daily transport operations, including route planning, vehicle management, and delivery scheduling to optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive the expansion of Packaly’s transport operations, ensuring alignment between transport plans and the company’s overall strategy, while establishing and managing the company’s delivery fleet.
• Coordinate the recruitment and training of drivers, dispatchers, and other logistics support staff to ensure high-quality delivery services.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly report transport performance to senior management, and continuously improve delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost management.
• Stay up to date with changes in transport laws and regulations, making necessary adjustments to company operations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Job Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in a transport management role, particularly within the logistics or e-commerce delivery sectors.
• Successfully passed the exams from the Dutch Traffic Exam Institute (CCV) and holds a professional transport management certificate (Vakbekwaamheid).
• Native Dutch speaker with excellent command of both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of Dutch transport regulations, vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and fleet management practices.
• Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
