We are seeking an experienced Logistics Technician to join an exciting project. The right candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment alongside a team of technicians and engineers to deliver a product that meets all attribute targets.

Tasks

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and vehicles required for development projects.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage the preparation, packaging, and transport of materials and vehicles between Outrigo spaces, customer sites and test locations, including overseas.
  • Support vehicle testing programs by ensuring timely availability of equipment and tools while maintaining detailed records for tracking and analysis.
  • Use ERP systems to manage inventory, schedule deliveries and optimize supply chain activities.
  • Monitor and document all material movements, ensuring compliance with Outrigo’s logistics standards and customer requirements.
  • Operate forklifts and other handling equipment to safely manage and move materials and vehicles.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistical support for project activities.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to Health and Safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Hold an Automotive or Logistics-related degree, or a Skilled Trades qualification in automotive or logistics.
  • Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain operations within OEM, Tier-one or testing facilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP systems, inventory control and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes for vehicle and material handling, including international transport and customs procedures.
  • Valid car driving license (essential) and forklift operating license or certification (essential).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to logistics and workshop operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships internally and with external suppliers.
  • Competency in IT tools, including Microsoft Office products, ERP systems such as SAP and Atlassian tools for documentation and scheduling purposes.
