GL Accountant / Senior Accountant

To support our continued growth and ensure the highest standards of financial integrity, we are looking for a GL Accountant to join our team in Slovakia. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for General Ledger Accounting across all Optotune entities, ensuring compliance with Switzerland and Slovakia. This is a key position where you will drive accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration within a dynamic international finance environment.

Tasks

• Overall Lead of GL Accounting within Shared Service Center Accounting for all entities
• GL Accounting all entities
• Asset Accounting all entities
• Payroll Accounting all entities
• IC Accounting all entities
• Accounts Reconciliation, keep GL Accounting clean and accurate
• Financial Statements
• Direct and Indirect Tax Declaration
• Statistical Reporting
• SAP FI power/key user
• Lead monthly/yearly closing
• Deputy Head F&C SK (Accounting, Taxes)

Requirements

• Experience: Over 10 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting, preferably within an international company. Experience with publicly listed companies is a strong advantage
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI and SAP S/4HANA; prior Key User experience is a plus
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Languages: Fluency in both Slovak and English is essential
• Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy and reliability; self-motivated and ambitious with a curious mindset. Strong team player with a proactive attitude
