About Us
Optiml is a PropTech startup with a mission to decarbonize real estate through our decarbonization software. In April 2024, we launched our product in the DACH region and the UK (soon US), and now, we’re at the stage where we need to ramp up our operations to meet demand.

We spun out of ETH Zurich in 2022 and have recently raised a $4M pre-seed extension from top-tier US and EU funds, including Innovation Endeavors (the fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt), Planet A, BitStone, and Kompas. • Manage & optimize our infrastructure to meet our scaling needs
• Work with Github actions to build and deploy to our GCP cloud environment
• Own the software release process and monitor system level KPI
• Simplify and automate the QA process to increase reliability & velocity
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents and refining incident management processes.
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design and code reviews.

What you need

• Past experience in startup or scaleup as an DevOps or SRE
• Expert troubleshooter and experienced in Python
• Experience CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Infra-as-Code, Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of security and compliance best practices for cloud infrastructure
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
