About
We are seeking a Business Controller to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy. You will be a pro-active finance business partner, covering a relevant role in supporting the team during the month-end closing, budget and forecast process, variations analysis and cost-control activities, in order to close the total reporting for the legal entities and ensure respect of internal and group deadlines.
Your mission
- Monitor and analyze business performance, including revenue streams, costs and profit margins across various business units and regions;
- Run business and cost control processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting;
- Support the teams in maintaining budgets, forecasts and financial targets aligned with strategic objectives;
- Conduct regular variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement in revenue generation and cost management;
- Support in the preparation of comprehensive reports, presentations and insights for senior management and stakeholders to foster decision-making processes;
Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems and controls to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
This is what you bring along
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years in Business & Cost Controlling within the Services industry, preferably Tech or Advertising.
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost structures.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis techniques.
- Proven Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Principles
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with NAV system and consolidation systems (i.e. Tagetik, HFM, etc.) is a plus.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory - therefore please hand in your CV in English.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Assertivity, proactiveness and business partnership approach are mandatory attitudes for this role, to collaborate effectively across diverse international teams and stakeholders.
