Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

THE ROLE We are looking for a talented individual to join our Finance team, which currently consists of two Accountants, a Controller, a Finance & Investment Manager and the Director of the department, to help us deliver high quality information to our stakeholders as digitally as possible.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Preparation of timely and accurate financial closing activities
  • Conduct General Ledger and Sub-Ledger accounting activities
  • Own the preparation of the annual statement and contribute to the consolidation activities
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Design and enforce accounting processes
  • Independently manage accounting processes and coordination with the Dr. Oetker Holding
  • Manage documentation and internal controls for accounting processes
  • Supervision of all accounting activities & accountants together with the Director

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Degree in finance or commercial apprenticeship, preferably as a “Bilanzbuchhalter”
  • At least 7 years of accounting experience
  • Familiarity with German GAAP (HGB) and German tax law
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably SAP S4 Hana) and financial tools
  • Fluent in German (C2) and good English skills
