For our client, an international manufacturer of electromechanical connectors, we are currently looking for a Sales Solution Engineer (all genders) for connectors. Your sales area includes the Nordic countries as well as the UK and the Netherlands.

Tasks

  • sales of electromechanical connectors with an strong focus on the UK and the Netherlands, as well as the five Nordic nations (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden)
  • technical support and advice for customers in the area of medicine technology, industrial machinery, robotics, automotive and (e-)mobility, and data communications
  • independent development and implementation of medium and long-term customer strategies
  • proactive implementation of customer consultations on transparent contract and price negotiations
  • direct reporting line to the Head of Sales & Marketing
  • overall dedication and use as a commercial/technical project manager for both internal and external stakeholders
  • responsible for the successful implementation of after-sales activities (e.g. complaints) to increase customer satisfaction and achieve long-term customer loyalty
  • continuous monitoring of market developments and early recognition of relevant trends
  • participation in selected trade fairs

Requirements

  • successfully completed technical degree (university/technical college, vocational academy), preferably with a focus on automation or electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree
  • desirable understanding in electromechanical/electrotechnical connectors across various industries
  • relevant professional experience in technical sales is an advantage
  • experience in one or more of the following areas: automotive and (e-)mobility industry, medical technology, industrial machinery and robotics as well as data communication
  • customer orientation, confident demeanor, a high degree of self-motivation and continuous engagement with new innovations
  • strong communication skills and willingness to travel within the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden)
  • proficient in German and English, other languages are a plus
