We're looking for a Field Testing Engineer (m/w/d) to support the testing and validation of our autonomous driving systems. You will be responsible for executing tests, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Working closely with our engineering teams, you will help refine our systems through structured testing and clear documentation. If you have experience in vehicle testing, a strong analytical mindset, and an eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Tasks

  • Test ADAS vehicles on test tracks, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Use advanced testing equipment to assess vehicle performance.
  • Assist non-technical test drivers in following testing procedures.
  • Design and execute functional test cases with an unbiased perspective.
  • Identify and implement improvements in testing procedures.
  • Document tests and suggest optimizations.
  • Analyze test results, identify patterns/issues, and provide insights to development teams.
  • Assign tasks based on test findings.
  • Stay updated on safety regulations and apply best practices.
  • Coordinate test planning and scheduling with team leads.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders for smooth test execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in vehicle testing, especially ADAS.
  • Basic knowledge of ROS2.
  • Understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO26262, HARA, FMEA).
  • Strong data analysis skills (collection, interpretation, reporting).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, braking, and steering.
  • Understanding of autonomous driving components (LiDAR, RADAR, cameras, GPS, IMUs).
  • Experience with automotive testing tools (data loggers, OBD-II scanners, testing software).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing test conditions.

Would be a plus:

  • Project management experience.
  • Driver’s license (Class B).
