NextGen Python Engineer (m/f/d)

As a NextGen Python Engineer at Monads, you will independently develop complete, production-ready applications and prototypes with a strong focus on AI integration.

You will be responsible for the full technical implementation — from backend to frontend — based on concepts and requirements provided by Monads' Architects and Product Owners.

You can fully focus on engineering and coding, while we support you with architecture, product vision, and requirement definition.

The position can be filled either as a permanent employment or on a project/mandate basis.

• Independently develop complete applications and prototypes based on defined architecture and product concepts.

• Build backend services, APIs, frontend components, and database models.

• Integrate AI services and machine learning models into innovative customer solutions.

• Collaborate closely with Monads' Architects and Product Owners during the design and planning phases.

• Ensure high-quality code by applying Clean Code principles and modern best practices.

• Participate in internal innovation initiatives and proof-of-concept projects.

• A completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field (Bachelor or Master).

• Strong experience in Python development and modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django) combined with frontend knowledge (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar).

• Solid track record in building complete applications (backend, APIs, frontend, deployment).

• Experience in integrating AI services (e.g., Azure AI, OpenAI, Hugging Face, Private AI solutions).

• Good understanding of software architecture, databases, and cloud-native environments.

• A hands-on mentality, passion for innovation, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work independently and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions based on provided concepts.

• Very good English skills (spoken and written); German is a plus but not mandatory.
