Your goal is the fully integrate the complex electrical systems
The lead Engineer E&A will focus on the integration of power-, navigation-, alarm-, and monitoring systems and play a leading role in the engineering process, interact with engineering partners, and maintain contact with counterparts at clients, suppliers, and shipyards.
Tasks
- Preparing functional descriptions and technical specifications for the electrical systems and equipment and/or supplier specifications’ assessments;
- Setting up the preliminary one-line diagrams, load balances, the panel, and the cable tray arrangements;
- Organizing and monitoring interfaces and system integrations with other disciplines and co-makers;
- Being able to control the technical- and organizational scope of multiple projects, including various engineering teams
- Setting up and steering an engineering team per project, leading one or multiple E&A Engineers
- Supporting national authorities, classes, and clients during the approval process
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Master good communication skills in the English language, preferably also in Dutch
- Have experience in the functional development of Electrification and/or Control and Monitoring systems
- Are result-oriented and initiative, and have management skills and patience
