minka wants to build an open network for money. In many places around the world people don’t have access to financial services. We want build a system that allows anyone to join and use. people can pay for anything with cash, but online payments usually require a credit card, we want to change that.

We are not user facing, that is why people usually don’t know about us and we want to keep it that way. Minka is building a new infrastructure for money, we want that everyone uses what we have built without ever hearing about us.

Our core product is a ledger based on blockchain principles and cryptographic algorithms. with ledger we want to provide a simple way to bring existing, closed, banking systems to the Internet. Same as the Internet made it possible to connect previously disconnected computer networks, with our ledger we want to build a financial network to connect all the currently closed and disconnected ledgers of the world.
