Job Description
MGID is a global advertising platform that helps publishers monetize their audiences and enables brands to promote their products and services across the open web effectively. Using AI-powered technology, we deliver high-quality native, display, and video ads in brand-safe environments, balancing user experience and performance.
Our Legal team is a small, senior group with global reach — supporting every part of the business, from employment matters across jurisdictions to commercial agreements and internal compliance. We work fast, think practically, and treat legal as a business enabler, not a blocker.
This role joins that team as a hands-on, detail-driven contributor — freeing up senior lawyers for complex matters while building a solid legal foundation of your own.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Legal team — translations, document formatting, template maintenance, and tracking of internal requests
- Prepare, review, and update employment contracts, addendums, and HR-related documents under the supervision of senior lawyers
- Maintain and continuously improve the template library for legal and HR documentation, ensuring consistency across the company globally
- Monitor changes in labour legislation across relevant jurisdictions; summarise updates and flag potential impacts to the team
- Support internal compliance reviews — identify basic risks in HR processes and escalate them appropriately
- Assist in drafting and updating internal policies, codes of conduct, and HR procedures
- Be the first point of support for the HR team on routine employment queries: onboarding and offboarding documentation, standard employee requests, and straightforward employment questions
- Draft legal summaries, internal notes, and brief memos on HR-related matters
- Support senior lawyers on more complex tasks such as terminations, disciplinary processes, and restructuring — with increasing independence over time
- Keep legal files and correspondence accurately organised and accessible
Requirements
Who You Are
- You hold a Law degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from an accredited university — a specialisation in Labour or Employment Law is a strong advantage
- You have 1+ year of relevant experience — in-house, at a law firm, or in a paralegal capacity; what matters is that you have had real exposure to legal or HR documentation
- You are fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate or above) — you work with English-language contracts and documents daily; written accuracy is non-negotiable
- You are fluent in Ukrainian
- You genuinely enjoy operational and administrative work — not as something you tolerate on the way to "bigger" things, but as work you take pride in doing well
- You are comfortable working with legal frameworks you have not encountered before — you know how to research legislation, analyse it, and turn it into a practical recommendation
- You are an effective communicator — clear in writing, professional in tone, and comfortable liaising with stakeholders across different teams and time zones
- You possess a high standard of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics
Where You Are Located
- You are based in Ukraine or anywhere in Europe within UTC+0 to UTC+3. We work in European business hours, and we ask for at least a two-hour overlap with the core team window.
- If you are in Kyiv, hybrid office visits are possible and welcome — but remote-first is the default.
