Full Stack Developer (Node.js/Nest.js & Next.js)

Role Overview:

We're looking for a skilled and driven Full Stack Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The right person will have solid experience with Node.js/Nest.js for backend development and Next.js for frontend development. If you enjoy creating scalable applications and working in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: Fully onsite in Bahria Town Phase VIII, Islamabad

1. Backend Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Implement robust and secure server-side logic to power web applications.
• Optimize performance for scalability and reliability.

2. Frontend Development:

• Build and maintain highly interactive and responsive web interfaces using Next.js and React.js.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create seamless user experiences.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

3. Database Management:

• Work with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB/ Firebase Firestore) databases.
• Design efficient schemas and write optimized queries.

4. Integration:

• Integrate third-party APIs and services into web applications.
• Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend.

5. Collaboration:

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, and UI/UX designers.

6. Code Quality & Review:

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• 2-4 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Nest.js, with experience in creating APIs and middleware.
• Strong expertise in Next.js, React.js, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and working with platforms like GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) (preferably).
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude (preferably).
