At our office in the heart of Frankfurt, you will lead our engineering teams across Backend, Mobile, Web, QA, Analytics, and Security to deliver a reliable and seamless experience. Expect a steep learning curve, exciting challenges, and lots of fun along the way!

• Lead and align our cross-functional engineering team across Backend, Mobile (iOS/Android), Web, QA, Analytics, and (Cloud) Security.
• Own and evolve our technical architecture with a focus on reliability and scalability while helping the team to push more features.
• Drive platform security and data protection initiatives, ensuring compliance and resilience across the stack
• Establish and improve engineering workflows, testing culture, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
• Mentor and grow engineers and leads, building a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep technical expertise across backend systems, mobile platforms, infrastructure, and security
• Proven track record as Head of Engineering, VP Engineering or similar, ideally in a mobile-first B2C environment with millions of users
• You’re a techie at heart who’s grown into a strong people and org leader over time

• Solid familiarity with our current tech stack:

• Web Frontend: React, Angular, Bootstrap, TypeScript, Node.js, GCP
• iOS: Xcode, Objective-C, Swift, CocoaPods
• Android: Android Studio, Kotlin, Java
• Backends: IntelliJ, Java 17, Google Cloud App Engine Google Cloud Run, REST, JSON
• Databases: Google Cloud SQL, Google Datastore, BigQuery
