Tasks
To excel in the Head of Sales role in the USA, you should have extensive management experience and a robust network within the direct selling industry. You will be accountable for achieving sales targets across the market and overseeing daily operations, with a strong emphasis on business development through our member and leader network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, motivate, and guide the field team to meet or exceed sales targets, focusing on new customers, member acquisition, activity levels, and retention.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote the growth of our organization and enhance brand recognition.
- Team Management: Oversee the performance and development of the local team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Training & Development: Utilize our training academy to onboard and train new members and leaders, equipping them to effectively drive revenue.
- Recognition Programs: Roll out and manage recognition programs to maintain a highly motivated and engaged field team.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key field leaders to enhance team growth, retention, and personal support.
- Market Analysis: Identify customer needs and high-growth areas to target local sales and marketing initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations, protecting the company’s reputation at all times.
- Social Media Management: Manage social media strategies to boost engagement and attract new customers and members.
- Liaison Role: Act as an intermediary between the global team and local members, customers, and support teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of queries.
- Support Global Initiatives: Collaborate with the global team on new initiatives and provide insights from the local market.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the direct selling industry (10 years or more)
- Strong analytical skills to review sales, recruiting, and retention metrics, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Hands-on approach with a deep commitment to driving positive change and achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the sales force.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics and consumer behavior.
- Ability to develop lasting relationships both internally and externally, executing strategies effectively.
- Financially astute with budget management experience.
- Strong knowledge of compensation plans in the direct selling industry.
- High integrity and a strong value system, with an emphasis on cultivating a positive market culture.
- Experience in event planning and team-building strategies.
- Excellent English written & spoken is a must. Additional language a plus.
