Are you ready to make a tangible impact on the future of cloud finance and DevOps?
At Liquid Reply, we’re looking for passionate FinOps Consultants who want to empower enterprise leaders to manage cloud spend effectively and leverage cloud resources to their fullest potential. As a trusted advisor, you'll bridge the gap between Business, Finance, and IT, driving strategic change from within.
FinOps is the combination of DevOps and Finance. Together with our clients, we implement the FinOps Framework; starting with a central FinOps Team that drives the engagement within the client’s organization. Together with other stakeholders, such as DevOps Teams, IT Controlling, or Product Owners, we identify and implement measures to reduce cloud costs and maximize the usage of cloud resources, which maximizes the business value of the cloud, measuring the success of the implementation journey through various metrics.
Tasks
- Actively support FinOps projects together with your colleagues to make our customers' cloud usage more efficient and sustainable.
- Create transparency through cloud-native or 3rd party tools for cost allocation or optimization potential.
- Analyze the client’s cloud environments to highlight optimization potential for all involved cloud services in IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.
- Use your communication skills to interact with various stakeholders from the platform, product, and application teams.
- Develop FinOps blueprints and share your knowledge with colleagues.
- Prepare and execute FinOps trainings, conference talks, and create blog posts.
- Push FinOps topic development within Reply and with the FinOps Foundation.
- Work on extending the offering with new opportunities, such as FinOps for sustainability or Technology Business Management.

- Successfully completed university studies in Data Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, IT Management, or similar.
- First experience with data analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial data interpretation and insight generation.

- Intrinsic motivation to drive sustainable and efficient cloud solutions.
- Current residence in Germany, with eligibility to work within the country.
