Physical Therapy

At Aer, we are building the world’s first AI-powered physical therapy platform rooted in biomechanics, motion diagnostics, and proprietary hardware. Inspired by the ancient movement discipline of Pravilo, we combine clinical science and cutting-edge technology to offer scalable, preventive physical therapy experiences — delivered in beautifully designed, tech-enabled studios.

We've launched our first studio, shown early product-market fit, and are now assembling a founding team to lead the next generation of intelligent health systems.

Tasks

We’re looking for a clinical domain expert — a physiotherapist, sports scientist, medical researcher, or orthopedic specialist — who wants to reimagine the future of musculoskeletal care. As CCO and Co-Founder, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our methodology is safe, effective, and scalable — grounded in clinical best practices but designed for modern, tech-powered delivery.

This role blends clinical leadership, therapeutic innovation, and product shaping — and offers significant equity and influence at the foundational stage.

  • Define the AerMethod: Shape and continuously improve our proprietary therapy methodology, rooted in biomechanics, stretching, and neuromuscular activation.
  • Therapeutic Frameworks: Develop clinically sound training flows, diagnostic protocols, and progressive therapy programs for various use cases (prevention, recovery, mobility).
  • Biomechanics & Safety: Ensure device interaction is safe, biomechanically optimized, and aligned with therapeutic goals — especially for users with injuries or chronic conditions.
  • Clinical Validation: Lead or co-lead studies to validate efficacy, gather data, and support regulatory pathways if needed (CE/FDA).
  • Human-Centered Design: Work with product, AI, and hardware teams to embed medical logic into UX flows, diagnostics, and adaptive programs.
  • Train the Trainers: Build onboarding and certification protocols for studio staff, physical therapists, or movement coaches using Aer.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Aer within medical, sports science, and physiotherapy communities — helping shape public trust and academic partnerships.
  • User Research & Feedback Loops: Interview early users, interpret feedback, and turn insights into therapeutic improvements.

Requirements

  • Background in physiotherapy, sports medicine, rehabilitation science, orthopedics, or kinesiology.
  • 5–10+ years of experience treating or studying musculoskeletal disorders, mobility impairments, or performance enhancement.
  • Deep knowledge of biomechanics, functional movement, and/or strength & conditioning.
  • Interest or experience with digital health, wearables, or robotic therapy devices a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, product-driven environment.
  • Excited to collaborate with engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • Passionate about prevention, human performance, and reinventing how care is delivered.

Benefits

  • Help shape the clinical foundation of a global wellness tech company.
  • Make preventive physical therapy accessible to millions — through innovation.
  • Collaborate with world-class engineers, designers, and business builders.
  • Be at the forefront of AI-driven healthcare, motion diagnostics, and robotic therapy.
  • Join a team with proven traction, and a bold long-term vision.

At Aer, we are building something entirely new, a system that redefines how people train, recover, and perform.

Let’s build the future of therapeutic movement — with science, soul, and stretch.
