Mi cliente: es una empresa catalana que fabrica soluciones de cargadores para el sector de la movilidad (Mobility). Sus oficinas están en la zona del Vallès, cerca de Sabadell.

Reporting to the COO/CIO, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer:

• Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and assemblies, with a primary focus on metallic materials.
• Utilize SolidWorks software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for manufacturing.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts and ensure adherence to performance requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Generate documentation such as BOMs, specifications, and engineering reports to support design decisions and facilitate manufacturing.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities to verify design integrity and functionality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on metallic components and assemblies.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Experience with PDM/PLM systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes, especially related to metallic design.
• Experience with FEA and other simulation tools for design validation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Close experience with production/factory is a plus.

• Salary: 30-35k + benefits
• Hybrid role: 2-3 days office & 2-3 days remote
