THE ROLE
Our team is growing and we´re looking to fill a Buyer position for one of our top clients: the Real Madrid Football Club.

The Buyer will help drive and support the growth and expansion of the multi-channel retail environment within the Real Madrid Retail business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities for the Buyer Real Madrid Retail are as follows:

  • Work with the other Buyer and Buying & Merchandising Manager on OTB planning.
  • Manage the full buying process for Own Brand category; develop ranges, vendor relationship, cost negotiation, approval process, item creation, creating and tracking purchase orders, issue resolution, etc.
  • Work and ensure information is shared properly with all stakeholders.
  • Analyse sales & stock levels on a weekly basis to make strategic and data driven buying decisions.
  • Samples management: order and management with suppliers, organize photoshoots, storage, etc.
  • Other duties and projects assigned and directed by the line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

At Legends, we are looking for an individual with experience in a fast paced and multi-channel retail trading environment where they have shown strong numerical and planning skills with a product range direct to consumer markets.

  • A minimum of Three (3) years of buying experience within the sporting, FMCG or fashion industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, negotiating, and commercial awareness skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • IT skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to assimilate new systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate in professional English and Spanish at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Values & respects others, builds relationships and collaborates. Must possess a high level of professionalism in a team structure both internally, with vendors, and clients.
  • Gets things done, delivers to the highest standards and takes responsibility.
