(Junior) Purchaser Raw Materials - Food (m/f/d)

Your tasks

The Product & Sourcing Department is one of the core pillars of KoRo! The position as (Junior) Buyer for Raw Materials - Food (m/f/d) at KoRo offers you an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills in a fast-growing and dynamic company. In this role, you will support the procurement of raw materials for our products, ensuring they are delivered at the highest quality and competitive prices. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Operational support in raw materials purchasing, with a strong focus on global procurement for our products in the areas of breakfast, cooking, and baking.
• Category responsibility for a defined supplier and product group portfolio.
• Participation in the selection and qualification of new suppliers and products.
• Initial independent contract and price negotiations.
• Support in identifying cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain and contributing to the development and implementation of initiatives.
• Assisting in the optimization of processes and tools to continuously improve purchasing workflows.

Your profile

• You have at least 1-2 years of professional experience in the retail/FMCG sector, ideally with initial experience in global raw materials purchasing.
• You have a degree in business administration, economics or a similar field or have completed a corresponding apprenticeship.
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area and are happy to be on site at our headquarters in Schöneberg.
• You have a very good command of English and German.
• You have a strategic and data-driven mindset and your decisions are based on thorough analyses.
• Your way of working is characterised by a high level of structure and organisation, which enables you to manage complex tasks and projects responsibly.
• Your hands-on mentality and perseverance are among your personal strengths.
• Last but not least, you are a real team player with strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships.
