Project description:

To support our team at a renowned customer in the radio and communications industry, we are looking for an FPGA Development Engineer (m/f/x) in Munich for a permanent position at K-tronik. Does this sound interesting? Then we look forward to your application!


Tasks:

  • Development of FPGA function components in VHDL for Xilinx Versal architecture
  • Optimization of the designs with respect to clock frequencies and timing constraints
  • Synthesis of the functional components with Xilinx Vivado
  • Writing of tests during development
  • Simulation of the functional components
  • Documentation and coordination with involved development teams

Skills:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in FPGA development with Xilinx FPGAs
  • Very good knowledge in VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Hands-on experience in high-speed design, e.g. timing constraints, timing optimization
  • Knowledge of Python, Matlab and C/C++
  • Experience with Git, Xilinx Vivado and Aldec Rivera
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Proactive and independent way of working

  • Good knowledge of the Xilinx Versal architecture
  • Fluent German skills
